A new year, spring, and birthdays all seem to have a certain appeal for a fresh start. But do we have to wait until those milestone moments to start over?
What if you feel the need to start afresh right now?
Right when you’re in the middle of the mess.
When life is a little off-kilter and you want to find your way back on course.
Don’t get me wrong, I love new year beginnings. And of course, spring usually finds me spring cleaning and starting anew. But any day is a good day for a new beginning.
You can create a fresh start, starting now.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
Each and every day that we are alive God shows His compassion.
Every day He gives us a new opportunity to start over.
With each new morning His love and faithfulness are poured out on us. That is why we can begin again, any day!
When I need a new start spiritually, I find my way back to the Lord. At His feet I ponder His next step for me. But more than anything else, I sit and wait for His leading.
